AB Infinite 1 at W1 Curates | London

AB Infinite 1 represents an interactive snapshot of Andrea Bonaceto’s life within an ongoing cycle that moves from ab infinite (Latin for “from infinity”) back to the origin, symbolised by the number “1”. Conceived as an interactive digital installation, the work invites members of the public to become active participants in the creative process, encouraging viewers to influence and alter the artwork through a specially designed artificial intelligence (AI) system.

Andrea’s purpose-built AI gathers audience interactions online, primarily through social media channels, and transforms these reactions and suggestions into visual responses that are integrated into the evolving artwork. This approach introduces an accessible and user-friendly form of AI interaction, allowing anyone to engage with and shape the work without requiring technical expertise or coding skills.

The first unveiling of AB Infinite 1 took place at W1 Curates in London. Located on Oxford Street, W1 Curates is a public art platform dedicated to presenting cutting-edge projects across art, fashion, and music through large-scale digital installations. Using advanced wraparound LED technology, W1 Curates transforms the exterior of the Flannels London flagship store into a striking public exhibition space.
