The Decentral Art Pavilion: NFTs at the historic Biennale
Unfolding parallel to the Venice Art Biennale, the Decentral Art Pavilion will present and educate the public on the evolving NFT (non-fungible token) art movement with a digitally-immersive and sensory showcase entitled Singularity
SINGULARITY
The Decentral Art Pavilion Venice Edition, titled Singularity will feature over 200 NFT works of art created by leading influential international artists now shaping the NFT space.
Dubbed the “intelligence explosion”, one version of the Singularity Hypothesis posits that an upgradeable intelligent agent will eventually enter a “runaway reaction” of self-improvement cycles, with each new and more intelligent generation recursing ever more rapidly, causing an effusion in computing brainpower and resulting in a powerful superintelligence that qualitatively far surpasses all human intelligence.
This engaging and lucid exhibition will present world-acclaimed NFT artworks, propelling the dialogue surrounding the impact of NFTs on mainstream art, in the effort to encourage a wider public understanding of the impact of decentralized technology in the Arts. The showcase will shed light on the spectacular culture of the NFT community, while fostering experiences that determine the social significance of digitization for future generations.
An exhibition curated and organized by Florencia S.M. Brück, Javier Krasuk, Diego Lijtmaer and Simone Furin. Exhibition installation design by David Rodríguez Gimeno.
